Good advice.  Another suggestion would be to dedicate a machine to all things crypto and an entirely different machine for day-to-day use, casual browsing, and clicking shady links that your grandma posts on Facebook.

Use linux and a trezor if you want to be truly secure I also advise updating electrum as their is a <b>BIG hole in the software that's just been patched</b>
