Simply put, you should always have an out for times (like now) when the market scares you. There IS a place to go. You can turn BTC into gold or vice-versa. I live in Canada and the banks seem to want nothing to do with crypto-currencies. They're determined to make it difficult to turn your bitcoin into cash. Gold is probably a better option anyway and leaves you the option of getting back into bitcoin when you see fit. Here's the link:
