Cashing in on the Aug 1st fork is one thing. I personally believe BCC to be a better option for the long run compared to BTC.

The best cash alternative in blockchain is Dash which has Instantsend and Privatesend which is the best privacy offered. Monero was a privacy scam and Zcash lacks extra features.

Although ICOs may provide downward pressure on the ETH price in the short-term, aren't they ultimately a driver of ETH value in the long-term? The more successful products built on the Ethereum network, the more valuable it is overall.
