I ran Sia before it was in full production, it comes in Docker so if you have the right kind of NAS its easy to use.

I have Synology, it does work on those but not mine as its too old, it depends if the CPU is capable of virtualization

CPU virtualisation: probably not on mine as well, it has anyway quite a slow CPU, maxing out when I stream a HD movie. I may start with Storj, that can run on Rasp Pi + some HD I have available. But apparently, cmd line interface for the admin. SIA is better in that I was told by someone here on Steemit. Better UI, better technology, but requires RAID HD, have those too, but may need some system to run the software on...and probably that will not be my NAS :( You are not running SIA anymore?
