It would be foolish to neglect what's happening with merchants like amazon in terms of payments processing and also how alternative fiat payment systems like paypal work.

In understanding these systems:

You will see that amazon is filing blockchain patents. This suggests at the very least - amazon is investigating blockchain and cryptocurrency and is planning it's market strategy to profit from blockhain tech and cryptocurrencies.

Amazon could technically become more powerful than the most powerful banks.  Amazon could become like a bank 2.0 because with blockchain tech and cryptocurrency, it's possible for Amazon to become it's own bank.  A bank that continues to expand its reach.

The thing about cryptocurrency and blochain tech is that it creates healthy competition for middle man positioning services.  This empowers both companies and individuals.  It encourageous an entrepeneurial spirit and it provides better contracts for exchange. Go figure that "smart contracts" is all the rage within cryptocurrency and blockchain tech.

What's the smartest contract you can think of?

Stretch yourself out with that question for awhile. 

Challenge yourself to connect the best things together.
