Very good point, I think many have joined here to create content only. The problem is it's going to get pretty boring with everybody creating stuff and nobody looking at it. With curation you can earn well just for timing your post upvotes right, you don't have to vote in the first few minutes - just get your vote in before big votes follow. So you can find posts that are really good a day or so old with low rewards - vote it and then share it so hopefully it get's hit by a curation team that takes the post reward really high - then you earn a much bigger curation reward for your efforts.
