Reading this really makes me throw a flag up on an idea for one of my own projects now. I was thinking of doing something like that on the site (with the nonsilent API, of course), but now I'm not so sure. Utopian sounds like the better option, to be honest. I'll run it by my superiors, and I'll even show them this.
