I appreciate you posting this... I have been confused about purchasing the EOS tokens, as I lack the technical skill of many crypto programmers. 

That being said once you send your ether, do you get sent your EOS at this point? From what I understand you then need take several other steps to actually receive EOS. Could you follow up on these steps. 

Furthermore, I thought I understood that no actually EOS was to be distributed till around July 2018, which make me wonder if the EOS being sold on exchanges is the actual tokens or not.

Thank you in advance for clarification! Or anyone else for the matter.
