Thanks Anant for this post - I used these instructions for dawn 4.0 with a minor adjustment

> plugin=eosio::account_history_api_plugin

should be

> plugin=eosio::history_api_plugin

you may need to resync the blockchain if you encounter errors from an earlier run of nodeos:

> nodeos --resync-blockchain
