That is a good question, and we always strive to keep our investors and pre-sale contributors informed about the latest developments in BitGate. A new update is just around the corner. Just last week I actually presented BitGate at the BankID Day conference. BankID is the main Norwegian digital identity solution, and they invited us because they are really excited about what we are doing; Combining Bitcoin/Cryptocurrencies with traditional digital identity authentication, thus giving a cryptocurrency wallet the same low-threshold usability as the country’s leading online banking solutions. That, we believe, is key for cryptocurrencies to hit mainstream. At the end of my presentation, lead developer of BitGate, Torkel Rogstad, did a live demo on stage, showing instant onboarding of any BankID-user (roughly 75% of the norwegian population) to our platform.

BitGate is currently undergoing alpha-testing, and we are aiming at Q2 for launching the closed beta with pilot customers.
