Your article contradicts itself. You explain how Ether could fail, as Amazon could and others could take the lead, however, the same could happen to Bitcoin and Ether could take the lead. You also go on to explain how if Ethereum fail, there will be no goberment to save it. Isn't this true to every cryptocurrency, Including Bitcoin?  
The truth is that bitcoin is here to stay, but so does Ethereum. ETH has been receiving support from huge companies, meanwhile Bitcoin is in between a battle that wil eventually determine it's future.  We all love Bitcoin, and all we do is thanks to it, but lets be honest, ETH has a future, a well defined future. ETH is here to stay mi amigo.
