Auto votes being not so profitable is great news, because it incentivizes manual curation; when a user gets established and starts to attract auto votes, the auto voters are undermining each others' curation rewards when there's enough of them. So if people want to get more curation rewards, they need to start looking manually for good posts from yet established users. At first, I could offset it by changing my vote timer from 5 to 4 to 3 minutes. But it's a race to the bottom now. Especially when more and more ppl are entering the game. Switching authors helps. But Manual is best I think.
