At the moment with out 50k daily users very few of them have use for holding Steem they want to sell for fiat eventually there is no ecosystem for them to spend steem in exchange for something they want! 

I’ve been thinking long and hard about it and I think we should actually have a few steem loan services where you can put steem into a smart contract and then get a fiat micro loan you can pay back at a certain interest! That way we keep the steem in steem while the user gets fiat to use but needs to pay it back meaning we get more value back over time
