I'm pretty sure a lot of it is thinking "oh well someone else will take care of it - I'll just maximize a bit more because "free money lol"" meanwhile we could've been way more ahead and have a way bigger userbase if there had been some more "altruistic" curation happening over the years. Fucking suckers that curated the past 2 years, eh.
