From console player to PC mod lover
# Out for a different flavor

I'm not one to 100% any games. I used to be, back when I was a teen, specially with games like Crash Bandicoot 3. But after I got stuck for no apparent reason in FF7 and I had to put the game down after 20 hours playing it (no sources of internet guides in my language either), I went to online multiplayer PC gaming and didn't look back for over 10 years.

Diablo 1 was my first online passion. Warcraft 3's custom maps and DotA 1 got me hooked really easily. That was all oh-so-very-awesome. I could never hold a controller the same way. Keyboard and mouse is the way to go.

# Stay for the unique exclusives

I did miss some exclusives from console systems, but I could never switch back after playing content created by mod communities. Quake 1 maps and servers could not never exist on a playstation 1 - or even a playstation 2. Some fixed servers would even enable extra powers not present in the original game.

Diablo 2's [Hell on Earth](https://www.moddb.com/mods/hell-on-earth-2) was amazing. Some of them made the game much easier and even boring, sure, but others would change all of a classes' skills. That's a ***big*** deal since characters would only use skills. I would never have so much fun without the mods of the more recent Terraria, too, like [Thorium](https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/the-thorium-mod.40788/). Mods are awesome.
