# Solucionando un problema con la cama [ESP]/[ENG] <div class="text-justify"> Saludos amigos de la comunidad de @homesolutions. Les deseo lo mejor en este miércoles, con mucha salud y bienestar. Hoy paso por acá para relatarles algunas actividades que realice en casa el pasado fin de semana y que había dejado postergadas a causa del poco tiempo que dispongo para atender estas situaciones.  Hace ya varios días que mi hija me informó que la cama de la habitación frente a la suya se había roto. Ella usa esta habitación cuando hay cortes de luz porque al abrir la ventana entra más brisa que en su cuarto.   Este sábado decidí revisar la cama y efectivamente, a uno de los soportes de uno de los laterales se le habían salido los tornillos porque ya la madera no lo soportaba. | -|- Esta cama es bastante antigua, pues la compramos antes de casarnos y ya tenemos 30 años de matrimonio,así que ha salido demasiado buena y apenas se ha reparado dos veces. Cuando la compramos jamás me imaginé que iba a ser tan duradera porque la madera con que la fabricaraon no era de las mejores. | -|- Cuando la revise noté que los tornillos que sujetan el esquínero se salían de la madera porque ya los orificios estaban grandes y los tornillos no quedaban apretados, además ya la madera estaba astillada en la punta de la tabla. Entonces se me ocurrió buscar un silicon que tenia guardado, se lo coloqué en los orificios y luego le inserté pedacitos de madera a presión para sellar los huecos, los deje secar y luego procedi a colocar las piezas de metal con los tornillos. | -|- Asi me aseguré que los tornillos quedaran bien apretados y sujetaran la platina metálica de manera segura. También le coloque un tornillo en la punta de la tabla astillada para evitar que siga abriéndose con el peso. | -|- | -|- Llevé el lateral a la cama y lo enganche en las bases que tienen las esquinas para que calzara, martillé la madera que sostiene la base de la cama porque estaba un poco fuera de lugar y listo, la cama quedo nuevamente operativa. Today I'm stopping by to tell you about some activities I did at home last weekend that I had left on hold because of the little time I have to attend to these situations.  It has been several days since my daughter informed me that the bed in the room across the hall from hers had broken. She uses this room when there are power outages because opening the window brings in more breeze than in her room.   This Saturday I decided to check the bed and sure enough, one of the brackets on one of the sides had lost its screws because the wood could no longer support it. | -|- This bed is quite old, because we bought it before we got married and we have been married for 30 years, so it has been too good and has been repaired only twice. When we bought it I never imagined it would be so durable because the wood it was made of was not the best. | -|- When I checked it, I noticed that the screws that hold the corner post were coming out of the wood because the holes were too big and the screws were not tight, and the wood was already chipped at the end of the board. Then it occurred to me to find some silicone that I had saved, I put it in the holes and then I inserted pieces of wood under pressure to seal the holes, I let them dry and then proceeded to place the metal pieces with the screws. | -|- This way I made sure that the screws were tight and held the metal plate securely. Hola, buen trabajo, pero como a los orificios le hicistes un relleno, quizás con el tiempo se pueden volver a ensamchar, aunque espero que eso no suceda, porque has hecho un buen trabajo, pero de suceder, te recomiendo tornillos con tuercas y le haces un biselado a la madera para que la tuerca se y lo rellenas con la cola y aserrín, saludos.

La verdad que si ha salido buena, pasa que los productos de antes como que eran de mejor calidad. Por suerte le alargó la vida un poquito más
