Greetings, @jarvie,

You and your blog came to my attention today, courtesy of my long-time Steemit and Hive friend @moeknows ...

I have lived all my life within the Christian tradition and world-view. Part of that experience has been in "reformed churches" which teach that it is unbiblical to create images of Jesus. I'm still working through my own understanding of this, and I would be grateful if you would comment on your own obviously different view.

I also adore Jesus, and recognize and worship him as our brilliant Creator-God, and I appreciate the images you've shared here, finding them quite lovely and inspiring. I'm particularly moved by the image of him walking on stormy water...

Hey Duncan. I'm so glad to see you back today, and I'm glad that my mention of you brought you to Jarvie's page. Like you, Jarvie is an innovator who bridges the gap between the technical and the artistic. I think you two would get along great.

So nice to "hear" your voice... even though a couple months delayed; *my bad* this time, I've been very distracted by "issues;" perhaps we can discuss sometime by voice?

I keep wanting to write more; I have a huge backup of half-started drafts, but have been getting beat down by life lately.

I was happy to come back today and discover your message(s), and especially to see that you're boosting poetry. I hope to have "something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue" to share... But I have to figger out how to join the poetry group?🤔 And how to find other poets to comment on, so I can keep the minimum 2/1 ratio?
