Der Founder von Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht, hat nach seinem Talk auf der Bitcoin 2025 Konferenz eine Großspende von 300 Bitcoin erhalten. Das sind derzeit umgerechnet ungefähr 30 Millionen Dollar.

Seitdem gibt es Spekulationen, ob es sich wirklich um eine anonyme, extrem großzügige Spende gehandelt hat, oder ob sich Ross die Bitcoin vielleicht selbst überwiesen und es irgendwie geschafft hat, die Bitcoin in Sicherheit zu bringen, bevor er verhaftet worden ist.

Beide Szenarien haben etwas für sich. Es könnte sich tatäschlich um einen Milliardär handeln, der Ross finanziell unterstützen möchte.

Sollte sich Ross die Bitcoin tatsächlich selbst überwiesen haben, zeugt es davon, dass Bitcoin nicht konfiszierbar ist.

Ich freue mich jedenfalls, dass Ross Ulbricht wieder frei ist, sowohl physisch als auch finanziell.

The founder of Silk Road, Ross Ulbricht, received a large donation of 300 Bitcoin after his talk at the Bitcoin 2025 conference. That is currently equivalent to approximately $30 million.

Since then, there has been speculation as to whether this was really an anonymous, extremely generous donation, or whether Ross may have transferred the Bitcoin himself and somehow managed to secure it before he was arrested.

Both scenarios have merit. It could indeed be a billionaire who wants to support Ross financially.

If Ross did indeed transfer the Bitcoin to himself, it proves that Bitcoin cannot be confiscated.

In any case, I am glad that Ross Ulbricht is free again, both physically and financially.

Wenn man den auf einer Festplatte oder sonst wo hat ist es das eben möglich.
