I think there is a factor that at least in my country is very decisive at this point, it's almost the end of the year and people are more tired trying to sustain their lives hahaha the students saving subjects and preparing for exams, this part of the year is usually exhausting, I also saw that there are fewer interactions in publications, perhaps that is also demotivating for some.
