The reason sushi and uni were speedlisted is governance.   
  
Remember when Binance decided they wanted to vote on STEEM? Binance wants that same power on its biggest existential threats.

I see, could we say the same for Coinbase? No doubt they see DEXs as threat though and it could change in the future having DEXs completely or slightly dominant.

I think coinbase cares more about their reputation. But they did disregard all their normal rules for listing a coin to speedlist a direct competitor's governance.
