Fast lives, streams of content, nothing useful.

So many people spend time "together" infront of a screen. Staring at the same thing, isn't living a family life. It is a strange society we have built.

true, i already spend enough time on the computer at work...aka rn...so when I get home try to spend time with the kids and wife although usually Saturdays are mine to stay home rest do whatever i want and Sundays take them out for activities

It is nice to have routines for special things with the kids. I had adventure Fridays with mine, until she now has swimming practice. While that is on, it will be adventure whatever days we can make it :)
