Hello people, today I come to share with you a small and easy idea I made for my books. The idea has to do with bookmarks. I read from time to time and I used a piece of paper to leave the chapter I was reading marked. Actually, it's an idea that took me no time at all to make and you can make it however you want.

Yo leo de vez en cuando y usaba un pedazo de papel para dejar el capitulo que estaba leyendo marcado. La verdad, es una idea que no me llevo nada de tiempo hacerla y puedes hacerla como quieras.

The first thing we need to have to make this idea, is a piece of cardboard or why not, another material. The idea is that we get something that is a little resistant, so that we do not bend or spoil. I used some cardboard cuttings from my old sketchbook, which is a cardboard with a thickness of about 150 grams, so it was perfect.

> Lo primero que tenemos que tener para hacer esta idea, es un pedazo de cartulina o por que no, otro material. La idea es que logremos tener algo que sea un poco resistente, para que no se nos doble o se nos estropee. Yo use unos recortes de cartulina de mi antiguo cuaderno de dibujos, la cual es una cartulina con un grosor de unos 150 gramos, así que era perfecta.

Since I saw that the cutouts I was going to use were long, I decided to cut them down a bit. I used one of my books to get a more accurate average of the size of the dividers and the books I normally get to read.

> Como vi que los recortes que iba a usar eran largos, los decidí cortar un poco. Use uno de mis libros para tener una media mas exacta del tamaño de los separadores y de los libros que normalmente puedo llegar a leer.

Talking about the design that the dividers would have, the truth is that I only made one of the dividers with a design that I wanted it to have, the other two were designs that I made on the spot. The design I wanted to do from the beginning and which was my favorite of the three, was this one of hands. I'm a fan of drawing hands, so a divider had to have hands.

> Hablando del diseño que tendrían los separadores, la verdad a un solo separador le hice un diseño que yo quería que tuviera, los otros dos fueron diseños que fui haciendo en el momento. El diseño que quería hacer  desde el principio y el cual fue mi favorito de los tres, fue este de unas manos. Soy fanático de dibujar manos, así que un separador tenia que ser con manos.

When I had made the hands on the separator, what I did was to place paper adhesive on each end of the separators, this so that at the time of starting to work with the paint, the paper does not protrude or does not rise due to the humidity of the paint, which happens a lot if you do not use a paper with a high grammage. 

> Cuando había hecho las manos en el separador, lo que hice fue colocar adhesivo de papel en cada extremo de los separadores, esto para que a la hora de comenzar a trabajar con la pintura, no sobresalte el papel o no se eleve por la humedad de la pintura, lo cual pasa mucho si no usas un papel con un gramaje alto.

The design of the dividers you can make them as you like, they should not only be painted or with great designs, just make them as you like is the important thing. I made the designs of these dividers this way because I draw and paint, but if you are not very good at it, you can make them with cutouts or just writing any phrase you like or any kind of design, the imagination and creativity is yours for the idea.

> El diseño de los separadores los puedes hacer como tu quieres, no solo deben ser pintados o con grandes diseños, con que los hagas como quieras es lo importante. Yo los diseños de estos separadores los hice así porque dibujo y pinto, pero si no eres muy bueno en ello, puedes hacerlos con recortes o simplemente escribiendo alguna frase que te guste o cualquier tipo de diseño, la imaginación y creatividad es tuya para la idea.

This is a very simple and basic idea, really anyone can do it and in a short time. I made three designs for the dividers, the first and favorite one, the divider with hand drawings, the second one with some Turkish eyes and the last one with a gradient between blue and red, with a moon in the middle.

> Esta es una idea muy simple y básica, realmente cualquier persona la puede hacer y en poco tiempo. Yo hice tres diseños para los separadores, la primera y favorita, el separador con dibujos de manos, la segunda con unos ojos turcos y la ultima la de un degradado entre azul y rojo, con una luna en medio.
