Did you end up staying in a paid spot on the leaderboard?

I let the bot play my account to start the season in Wild C3 and it battled me up to Champ 1 within 5 days (about 55% win rate over 110 battles). I spent the other 9 days battling in Modern, starting from mid D3 and making it within 1 win of Champ 1 on the final day. I lost 3 times at 4290+ rating and ultimately did NOT make it to Champ 1 in Modern for the 2nd straight season.

I also let some energy go waste over the course of my modern season, as I remember waking up a few times and seeing my energy bar full on 50. The inexplicable pain of knowing I'm losing EV when the bar is full at 50. I need to get into a better habit and rhythm of playing my human modern account so I don't "waste" free battles/energy through the season.
