You need to have a look at the YouTube channel C&Rsenal great resource for WW1 small arms they have some great history on the long Lees and the SMLE as well as just about small arms from every country involved in the Great War

I've seen it once or twice, they have showcased some interesting firearms. I have a library full of books though and prefer books to watching videos. I've studied war history from the age of ten. I'm not as much into reading about guns as I am about owning and operating them and tend only to delve deeply into those I either own or have had to operate from time to time. That's not to say I don't research them though.

I discovered it during lockdown in the Philippines. I’ve found it fascinating. Owning guns in the UK is a little difficult.
