Thank you for sharing your insight with the Hungarian Yellow Wax pepper! 

I'll start with a small piece as you suggest, ensuring to get a nice clump of seeds in the bite.

I ended up eating it whole, and it was indeed hot, slightly hotter than a jalapeno, but futuremind likes much hotter, this one will be next:

It's a cayenne and about 5X hotter than the Hungarian Yellow Wax. 

I'll be popping it whole.

Capsaicin addiction is a real thing :D
