Wow, that is horrible.  I know my wife just about when crazy when they were building the new house behind us.  Of course it was during the summer when she was off work so she couldn't even have the windows open without hearing the beep beep beep of the excavator backing up.  It was driving Jovi nuts too.  She just couldn't settle with all the racket.  I can't even imagine what it must be like there.

Poor Nadi now feel so "naked" without the fur ball at the back 🥲

Good rant on the construction and mega projects. We have similar but different issue here, construction project halt and unable to resume.

1. Material price is currently doubled compare to pre-pandemic
2. The builder could have agreed a 3 years work, but the lockdown already ate up 2, the fine is probably heavier than the project itself. Contractors rather wind up their company to avoid the liability.
3. Landlord could have been finding new contractors to resume the work, but under what conditions? Not forgetting material is way expensive, and there's insufficient budget since the first contractor "ran away".

I have a live case here a client came to obtain all risk insurance for a building project, but they're the 2nd contractor after the 1st went bankrupt. My underwriter asked them to show prove of work from the 1st contractor and verification by structural engineer firm, to ensure the previous work is done properly. Guess what, until now 1 year later, that 2nd contractor still trying to find an insurance company that will look away from the certification 🥲 in my country, there's no way they can get the permit to start work without insurance coverage. 

Come to think of it, isn't it easier to "accidentally" collapse the incomplete project, claim insurance and write it off? 🤣

I can imagine what it is like to live in an area where noise is constant, and worse you can't do anything about it. The only bright side is that the work is bound to be completed one day...hopefully sooner than later 

Well Nadi, I think we all still love you even with your new rat tail. I hope when your poof ball returns that it's twice as big as before and people confuse you for a lion.

Luckily Nadi did not in very bad mood for not having her Pom Pom fur tail she used to have. As for my dog, Uku Chan, he's in bad mood for few days for been shaved off his fur on his paws (naked paws) after the grooming session last month.
