Este pasado día viernes 29 de noviembre en horas de la tarde Villa de Cura vivió un momento especial cuando el Núcleo del sistema de orquestas Simón Bolívar arribó a sus 12 años de creación en la ciudad y más aún el debut de lo que fue la coral de adultos a la que se les bautizó en presencia de un gran público como "Coro de adultos "Rafael Bolívar Coronado" llevando el epónimo del insigne poeta que escribió la zarzuela mejor conocida como "Alma Llanera".

Entre los muchos números musicales que se presentaron entre música instrumental y de coros destacó a mi juicio este set que rindió tributo a una de las grandes agrupaciones musicales de los años 70 y cuya influencia musical por su calidad perdura hasta el día de hoy, se trata de un popurrí con los éxitos de la agrupación ABBA de parte de músicos del Núcleo Villa de Cura dirigidos por el maestro Gerardo Ovalles.

>This past Friday November 29th in the afternoon Villa de Cura lived a special moment when the Nucleus of the Simon Bolivar Orchestra System reached its 12 years of creation in the city and even more the debut of what was the adult choir which was baptized in the presence of a large audience as “Adult Choir ‘Rafael Bolivar Coronado’ taking the eponym of the famous poet who wrote the zarzuela better known as ‘Alma Llanera’.

>Among the many musical numbers that were presented between instrumental music and choirs, the set that stood out in my opinion was a tribute to one of the great musical groups of the 70's and whose musical influence for its quality endures to this day, it was a medley with the hits of the group ABBA by musicians of the Núcleo Villa de Cura directed by Maestro Gerardo Ovalles.

A pesar de los tiempos modernos y de la juventud que tenemos hoy totalmente influenciada por los géneros modernos algunos de ellos obscenos y vulgares en su contenido es de resaltar en trabajo de los profesores del NUCLEO Villa de Cura por inculcar en estos músicos lo que consideramos música de alto quilate y arle un valor ya que mucho del público presente era adulto y estoy seguro que se disfrutó este set.
