Good evening dear friends, I hope you had a great Wednesday.... Today, I will explain "step by step" how to make an exquisite "bread cake with liqueur". This recipe is very easy and simple to prepare, this time I did not add eggs or flour to the mixture and the result was really delicious. The magic of our succulent dessert is found in its wonderful moist and creamy consistency.... A delicacy to the palate!

> Buenas noches queridos amigos, espero que hayan pasado un miércoles genial... Hoy, les explicaré "paso a paso" como elaborar una exquisita "torta de pan con licor". Ésta receta es muy fácil y sencilla de preparar, en ésta oportunidad NO incorporé huevos ni harina a la mezcla y el resultado fue realmente delicioso. La magia de nuestro suculento postre la encontramos en su maravillosa consistencia húmeda y cremosa... Un manjar al paladar!

* To make this recipe I used a container suitable for cooking the mixture in a bain-marie. Add 6 tablespoons of sugar to a deep bowl.

>* Para realizar ésta receta utilicé un envase apto para cocinar la mezcla en baño de María. Añadimos 6 cucharadas de azúcar a un recipiente hondo.

* Cook the sugar over medium heat until it acquires the desired color... for this recipe I like the caramel to be a "light golden" color, because the "darker" the caramel is, the more bitter the flavor will be.

>* Cocinamos el azúcar a fuego "medio", hasta que adquiera la tonalidad deseada... para ésta receta me encanta que el color del caramelo sea "dorado claro", ya que mientras más "oscuro" más amargo será su sabor.

* In a deep bowl, cut 2 large loaves of bread into small pieces. You can also use sliced bread, but I like the consistency of the cake better with this type of bread.

>* En un recipiente hondo, cortamos 2 barras grandes de pan, también pueden utilizar "pan de molde", pero me gusta más la consistencia que adquiere la torta con éste tipo de pan.

* The quality and type of bread you use is proportional to the amount of milk you will add, in my case it was enough to add 2 cups of milk. The consistency of the mixture should be more "lumpy" than liquid. 

>* La calidad y el tipo de pan que utilicen es proporcional a la cantidad de leche que agregarán, en mi caso fue suficiente añadir 2 tazas de leche. La consistencia de la mezcla debe quedar más "grumosa" que líquida.

* Add 1 heaping tablespoon of melted butter...

* Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence...

* Place in a deep pot, add water only up to halfway, to prevent water from entering the edges of the container during the cooking process.

* Cook over medium-high heat for approximately 1 hour. I suggest placing a heavy object on the lid of the container to make sure that no water drops will enter.

Ésta receta es muy fácil de preparar y queda exquisita, te sugiero utilizar "pan en barras" para lograr la consistencia ideal, antes de envasar la mezcla puedes probar el punto de azúcar y ajustarlo si lo deseas más dulce, ya que en ésta ocasión lo hice un poquito bajo de azúcar.
