yea i agree, ai comments are just garbage and chain spam. i might appreciate a ai post, it can give good informations, might enlight you...but ai comments...and the fun part is that they are all enthusiastic and full of joy like when you talk to chatgpt 

This is a good software and we are getting a lot of information from it, but I have to say that it cannot do what the human mind can do because it only tells us the things that we have already added. So what I am saying here is that the human mind cannot do anything else that it can do by thinking. 

I agree that AI can help out, but I do agree that it would suck to see AI comments.

When people summarize posts with AI, I think they do so because they probably don't have time to read a post, but then go on to do it with AI anyways, probably because they don't want to miss out on that vote that potentially comes on the comment, or they don't want to miss a networking opportunity.

AI can be used for many things but making comments on post its weird. This is something I see more on twitter, didn't know it has gotten to hive, like you said, it's so easy to tell when it's AI because the difference is always clear..

> This person really read my post!" What gives it away (besides the writing style of the AI), is the fact that they summarize it too well.😀 Real people usually pick up one or at most a few points from your post and comment on them. They don't rehash what you just said in a few sentences.

By little social engineering, you can easily figure out the stark difference in the sentence structure if it is an AI generated one.

Obviously commenting is the micro-economy and the lifeblood of social networks, and they also gain some recognition in that process. So many are doing that. But I would also add that using AI comments is one thing, what about comment farming? With the aid of AI, they can really produce it at an industrial scale.

I did this after writing 5 articles to reduce the number of words from 5,000-plus to 1,000. However, I did not publish it here, for it was 100% AI-generated. I used it in our values formation lesson for the welding students. I am impressed with AI's ability to remove unnecessary jargon and simplify complex ideas.

There are times that I do this, but I don't post as is. I just want to make sure that I understand the article correctly. However, after receiving a hint, I rewrite it. I also don't like if the comment reads too robotic.

I get some suspicious comments that may not get a vote. Comments need to add something to the discussion instead of just summarising what I wrote. I avoid using such tools for my posts as I prefer to do it the old way.
