Coding? Maybe A Bit Later
<div class="text-justify"

It's 2025. The world has advanced so much in terms of technology that it is genuinely hard even for the nerds now to keep up with it. With the buzzword being artificial intelligence. It would be very hard to actually find someone who hasn't heard about chatgpt around you and that speaks volumes about how much tech has progressed. I mean just think about it even 5 years ago, did you ever imagine about some chatbot, who you can ask anything and everything and it will just answer it like it knows it all? Did you ever imagine that? I sure didn't. And even since that chatbot was released in 2021, ai itself has progressed a lot. It can do so many things now and so well that sometimes people have a hard time distinguishing what's real and what's not. So about tech and coding being Incorporated in schools and curriculums is a valid thought.

Now we are specifically talking about these things as being incorporated in school from an early age now. If it were up to me I would make some changes to this and that would be coding to be compulsory a bit later. Suppose when children are at least 15 or 16. While anyone can start at any time. The broader tech space needs to be covered from an earlier age. Because I think kids can learn coding later. Before all that, they should first know that where technology stands at a given time and how much it is progressing at the same time, they should be able to understand how they can use technology to their benefit. I've seen people who are trying to study something in the old fashioned way of books and notes and spending a lot of time with it while he could do the same thing far more intuitively and effectively with the use of technology. Modern-day AI and chatbots of the world are very good at solving different programs and clarifying small confusions here and there. So if you have one as a study companion then it will be a massive help. And children will not know about that unless they are taught about it. That is just one example. There are many more things such as the most commonly used YouTube, that can be of so much help to children around the world to increase their productivity and learn more things at the same amount of time. So yes, children need to be introduced to technology and eventually they need to start coding at least the basic part. Because the world is progressing more and more towards a computerized future. So everyone needs to know how to operate this digital electronic machine if they are to stand a chance in the ever competitive job market.

So there's that. As a computer science engineer and student myself of course I support children learning to code but there is a certain age for everything. Coding could have been compulsory at an early age, but we should also remember that children at the age have different interests. And they should be given the chance to pursue those interests. So if someone wants to get involved in it he can after the figuring out period.
