It was a nightmare but not for not having a phone, but because basic services such as electricity to keep food frozen did not work and many had to survive without being able to have juices, milk, meats, cheeses and other things that require refrigeration, which was a very interesting challenge. But the truth did not feel the need to use the phone but to make payments in the shops.

Hmmm, we are used to that kind of life here in Nigeria. In fact, it's become part of our lives not to get electricity for days.

It is very hard, especially because of having to refrigerate important foods such as proteins, meat, cheese, milk, etc. How do you do those foods without electricity? I mean how can milk, cheeses, meat, etc can be kept without frozen/refrigerated?
