If we talk about the city of Banda Aceh, surely we are already familiar with the name of the most popular place there, namely the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque building. Surely when someone travels to the city of Banda Aceh, surely he will pass this magnificent building, because the position of this building is right in the middle of the city center of Banda Aceh.

Until now, this building is still the main tourist attraction visited when tourists arrive in the city of Banda Aceh, because in addition to being a place of worship, this place is also the most comfortable resting place. This place has a large yard and has a basement that is a place to park motorbikes and even cars. So that until now, this place is the most popular place in the center of Banda Aceh.

Likewise with me who is currently in the city center of Banda Aceh, precisely at the Zainoel Abidin hospital, because my position is not too far from the city center, I often travel to be able to get around the city or visit some beautiful tourist attractions in the city center. every time I travel to the city center of Banda Aceh I will definitely pass this one mosque building, because the location of this mosque building is very strategic,so there are many roads that lead to this building.

Yesterday, precisely at three in the afternoon, when I was in the city center of Banda Aceh to buy some necessities for my mother, coincidentally the shop I visited was also not too far from the location of this mosque building, so after buying some necessities for my mother, I immediately made my own choice, because at that time I felt very curious or really wanted to enter the area of ​​the mosque building, yes in the end I agreed and decided to enter it.

Even from outside the fence, the building of this mosque can be seen, several towers or domes of the building are what made me very interested in entering it, coincidentally in 2005 I had never visited this building, so it is very appropriate if I visit this mosque building and give it the title, visiting the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque building in 2025.

Although it sounds ridiculous, but this is a fact that happened. Usually when I visit this mosque building, I will definitely enter through the basement, because there is a place to store sandals so they don't get lost (an incident that often happens in this mosque building), but it was different from my visit this time, I entered the area of ​​the mosque building through the side fence, the reason was because the sandals I was wearing were not good, so I was not afraid of losing them Lol.

Because I passed through the side fence, I immediately arrived at the right side of the mosque building, so I only needed to walk a few more steps to actually arrive at this magnificent building.

As far as I can remember, the last time I visited this building was 6 months ago, and of course it was still in 2024, but during my visit in 2025, I did not see any significant changes, or even no changes at all in terms of the architecture of the building, this mosque building still looks magnificent with its truly extraordinary architecture, plus its beauty because it has 5 domes on top.

At that time it was drizzling rain, so the ceramic floor of the mosque building was wet which made the floor slippery, and inside the mosque building there were only two umbrellas that were opened, so I had to walk carefully, at that time I immediately stepped towards the garden or pond which was right in the middle of the yard of this mosque building.

But this time I could see the changes in the garden and pond area which were very different from my previous visit. The changes I could see were that in the garden there were many new plants or flowers being cultivated, and the water in the pond had been replaced so that it looked very natural and clean.

This change does not only have an impact on the beauty of the park itself, because with the cleanliness and the presence of several new plants that are starting to be cultivated, the view of the grand mosque building will also be more beautiful when viewed from the corner area of ​​the park.

The conditions that were initially very comfortable suddenly turned very cold when it started to rain heavily, so I had no choice but to look for a shady place first to avoid the rainwater, because around the mosque building there were two umbrellas that were open, so I immediately walked towards there to take shelter.

The main function of this umbrella is as a shelter for visitors who come to this place, and it also looks ordinary when the umbrella is closed, but the function of this umbrella seems to change when the umbrella is opened, because the real beauty will be seen when these umbrellas are fully open, initially the function of this umbrella as a shelter seems to change into an extraordinary show.

>I don't really understand the weather that often occurs in Banda Aceh City, such as when I am in the middle of the mosque building area, if I look to the west and what I see is very bright weather, but if I look to the east then what I see is the opposite weather, namely cloudy, and right above my head it is raining, it is truly a unique phenomenon but often occurs in Banda Aceh City.

And when the rain started to ease, I started my activities again, and I decided to walk towards the front yard of the mosque building.

In the front yard, we can find an open yard that is overgrown with healthy grass, and there are also several chairs that can be sat on by visitors, not only that, because in front of the yard of this mosque there are also several small mini gardens that contain several types of beautiful flowers in them, so that the natural impression can be seen and felt perfectly when we explore the front of this mosque building.

However, there is one object that really attracts attention when we are in the front yard, namely a tower that has a height of 52 meters from the ground.

And visitors can also climb this tower up to the 5th floor (I forgot), so when we are at the top of this tower we can see the beauty of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque building with a very perfect view, and not only that, because if we are at the top of this tower, we can also see some of the beauty of the city of Banda Aceh, but one ticket to enter this tower is priced at Rp. 25,000, - in Indonesian currency, and that is a price that is not too expensive and not too cheap, aka the right price.

Because at that time I only brought enough money, so I chose not to go into this tower. After being satisfied observing some of the beauty in the front yard of this mosque building, I immediately rushed to the middle of the park to immediately continue my journey home, but before that, some of the beauty must or must be immortalized first.
