First off, I have to say that is a wonderful picture, I love the softness and pastoral setting it evokes.

I like the phrase "money doesn't make you happy", it might not, but it is needed to buy new toys, and while the shine of new toys wears off in time, it was still fun to play with. 

I think we are in a good time right now for crypto, especially with a few things I see happening on Hive. one week and it will be one year for Hive. HF 25 is getting close, the setting of one more foundation stone or two. I think outside interest are beginning to see Hive is becoming a serious block chain.

One month ago at $0.12 and lately bouncing around the $0.30 range and interest being provided for the savings account part now, so people can save and not wait 13 weeks on a power down, but be able to get what they want in three days. The rate is not much right now, but more than any bank. I think the long term nest egg can be a very real thing for Hive.

I really hope that *the next one* will introduce some new capabilities.

It only really takes one or two influencers to make a move - and everything changes.

People compare it to other defi pools though, not banks. What would be interesintg is to have a native defi pool on Hive. It would be a powerhouse for the community.

ref. defi pools have you seen @klye's <a href="https://peakd.com/dhf/@klye/proposal-hive-side-chain-hsc-development-funding-creating-a-ethereum-virtual-machine-hive-side-chain-enabling-decentralized-i">PROPOSAL #164?</a> seems interesting, but way above my knowledge base.
