That’s an interesting analysis and I think short term I’m right but long term you are right. Just depends on the time frame. 

Bitcoin development is slow and all about doing it right the first time where Alts are move fast and break things! A lot of great ideas came from Alts like confidential transactions, smart contracts etc 

Naturally it will eventually come to Bitcoin in one form or another but I think that takes way longer than we think. These other chains will also try to innovate and incentivize users to use their chain for years to come while Bitcoin starts the slow gobble up of the features 

I think lightning abs RGB will be key, it’s why I’ve also held off developing with blockchain myself! I actually want to use Bitcoin but the tech is not ready yet
