Do you want to know why fewer cars are sold? It's called the Osborne effect. The companies had already planned it, it has been talked about in the industry since 2019. Here is a link where it is explained https://forococheselectricos.com/2019/06/the-osborne-effect-applied-to-the-automotive-industry.html Osborne effect. According to Wikipedia, "The Osborne effect is a social phenomenon consisting of customers canceling or delaying purchases of soon-to-be-obsolete items, causing financial problems for a company that announces a future product prematurely." It can happen to an entire industry when its customers think a new generation of superior products is just around the corner. > Oh, and electric cars are more expensive because the factory transfers the development costs of these new cars to its customers, but over the years the price will be reduced, as long as inflation is low, which I already doubt.
