THIS is why this shit needs to be implemented slowly.  There is ridiculous amounts of money at risk here.  Granted, many millions of the dollars are crypto gains but still....they are now *real* dollars.  Extreme care needs to be taken to make sure those funds are as safe as they can possibly be.

This is the wild west of a brand new financial world.  People need to pay attention to their surroundings because there ARE no police.

I am glad that they got the money back but yea there needs to be some work on the cyber security side. All the hacks and rug pulls are something that keeps hitting the news. It tends to put Defi in a bad light.

Hacks can be prevented or at least mitigated if proper security is practiced.  

Prevention of rug pulls, on the other hand, relies on ethics and morality; since no one knows what's in the mind of anyone else unless that person volunteers that information, no amount of technology can prevent that.  It's one reason why DYOR is vital.

This type of loopholes in the crypto system are ones to always watch out for when starting a project or as an investor.
