Hyperinflation means the central bank in question has failed miserably and is on its last legs.  Considering this financial crisis appears to be a partially controlled demolition of the system... it's hard to imagine that the Fed won't come out on top this time around. 

Who knows where we'll be in another 10-12 years when the next financial crisis hits.  Technology is now advancing too quickly to extrapolate this far into the future.
