A commitment to building my Hive account

Throughout yesterday, my friends in the city kept reminding me that I have to get serious with my account and build it again. I don't know how I started getting this lazy but I saw that they were right. I do need to start making sure that I show up everyday and win. 

This is not something that I am sure I can do everyday but I think interacting with them will definitely help. Since, the average of people we spend time with is what we become, I have a deep feeling, that they will affect me positively as time goes on. 

They were addressing the need to show up everyday as a way to show how compounding works. And they pointed out how the numbers could add up even when I don't feel like it's going anywhere. But what I needed to do that could move the most needle was to write. Take part in initiatives that will help me write just about anything.

I am not making any promises, I'll try my best, and see how much my Hive account can grow everyday. Deep down, I want it to grow as much as they want. Even though I am proving stubborn and bringing an, I-don't-care attitude to the table. 

I want to believe them when they say that I can do it. I want to believe them when they say my efforts will compound and my Hive account will come alive again. I am not trying to imagine the results so I wouldn't get disappointed (*I know I won't be because I have all of their support*), or being utterly overwhelmed by it either. 

I just want to take a chill pill, and take it one step at a time, not so in much in a hurry, but making sure I contribute even a tiniest bit of my knowledge to this ecosystem through my posts. 

I am currently doing that but the energy I am bringing to the table is just too low, and I do need to do better. Doing better in the case that, I need to place it at the back of my head that I have a task to accomplish everyday and that is writing and publishing on my Hive account. 

I am not sure how this will work out because I have only gotten the buzzy bee badge a few times and it will be an amazing thing to get it every week from now on till the end of the year. All the same, I am not making promises. But I'll try my best.
