I'm Considering Making a Hive Outpost

## Introduction
Last week I began playing with the idea of making a new Outpost here on Hive. I'll lay out the "problem" I have encountered and why I am starting to believe an outpost may be the best solution. I am open to any and all suggestions. If there are posts you recommend I read about the topic of Outposts on Hive, please point me in that direction.

## The "Problem"
The average user of social media wants to interact with their friends and family while online. As it stands, most people I tell about Hive (aside from the ones already interested in crypto) don't understand why they would leave a platform where all their friends are for a platform where they don't know anyone. We all know how much value Hive provides, but this is the concern of the people I have been speaking to.

## A possible solution?
Since people want to be where other people they know are, it only makes sense to me to bring on their friends too. Duh, you say? How do we do this? I think the best approach is to focus on a geographical area. In my case I want to focus on the city I reside, Las Vegas.

## Las Vegas Outpost
I am suggesting that a Las Vegas themed frontend/outpost gets made. The idea would be to onboard people in an area which I believe are more likely to join as long as other people in the area are also joining. I think it would be wise to focus on onboarding performers, musicians, comedians, etc. initially. My thinking is those people already create content ripe to be posted on Hive. They may also already have some sort of local following. And lastly, they self promote.

This is rough draft of an idea that I think can become something. Please let me know your thoughts.
