That is not how it works.

YouTube requires a channel to have 4000 hours worth of views.  So if you and I both watch someone's 1 hour long video, that is 2 hours.

Yes it is still very difficult.  That is a lot of time viewing.  It can be done with the subscriber base but few have that.
