So I guess there are quite a few people bullish on ETH but I am not so bullish on it given the fees. I do understand that there are many building ontop of it or its derivatives.

I guess it is an "invest once" game . Once you invest ETH you will be given equivalent tokens which you can use numerous times in the game without fees . So only deposit and withdrawal needs fees . 

Note: I am not at all sure about this , just guessing lol.

I was trying to mint an NFT the other day just for fun but I gave up once I checked the transaction fee. Don't remember the exact number, but it was enough to get me to give up lol

as taskie has mentioned a couple of times ethereum is a chain for the big money spenders. think about it, defi has been the craze for some time now within the crypto sphere, however, not so many people have been involved due to the high gas fees. it is only until recently I joined in myself and it was via a different chain. i don't think they have any plans to change the current status quo. good luck to them but I think they are missing out on a lot.

Fortunately this has been my entry point into def. And I believe finance smart chain will surpass ethererum soon. The only problem with that is bsc is centralized in a way. That might change as well...

I will do what I can to operate on BCS (at least until we see if HSC arrives).

However, I am going to keep a bit of Ethereum just in case that does continue to excel.  I see no reason for it to slow down in terms of price since many believe in it.

Ethereum was the first so it carries a lot of weight.

I am also looking forward to HSC. I wonder if there will be any fees at all or will we see it based on RCs. I honestly would prefer RCs but I understand putting in a small fee. The only problem with the fee is that it would also make the price go up with the number of users. This means we might be in the same situation as ETH or BSC in the long run.

I think there are a lot of plans to make Ethereum truly a chain for big money players.  This is Wall Street is going to reside.  They honestly do not care about a $50 transaction fee since they play in tens of thousands of per transaction volume.

The little guy is shut out but we know the volume from retail is nothing compared to Wall Street.

Of course, with crypto this all can change if we keep growing our bags in a big way.

Yea I feel like ETH fees are nothing to Wall Street and they wouldn't break an eye if the fees were thousands of bucks. Because the volume they transact is huge. If you have taken a look at the dark pool prints, they are usually transacting in the value of tens of millions of dollars.

 I remember the time when I saw ETH worth only $1 in front of my eyes without being able to do anything .... I was right at the beginning of my trader journey and what else I was doing was playing around buying Doge and Xrp .... Result  , today I don't have any of that lol


 That is why nowadays I try to do everything to not miss some opportunities as they can be crucial to change your life for the better.

Hive certainly has advantage over ETH . Take fees or speed or anything but we need mass adoption of Hive like ETH to overcome it .

The name advantage is going to carry it a long way.  This is going to be tough to overcome with the major players.  So we are going to see developers jump on their knowing big transaction guys will utilize the apps regardless of the transaction cost.

That is what I think will keep Ethereum flying high until they figure out what they are doing.

Nothing too specific but there are a lot of devs building on it now and some projects to reduce latency and stuff like that make me believe that it's got some potential. I only have a small stake in ETH and not going to aggressive now, but I still believe in it.
