Thanks Jon @jongolson!  You have written great content and I sure do know what *Evergreen* is about.  Did Leo get the term from you?  I'm interested and will give a shot at writing longform Leofinance post.  Writing has been very difficult for me lately, although it had been something I was good at in the past. It will be interesting to see how it all pans out.  I wonder how much of my old Leo stuff will get hit if this happens. I have a feeling it will be pretty low.  I think the people that focus on SEO and stuff like that might do well in the long term.  I think if I end up having to put that much work into it, it might not be fun anymore.

Great content bro. I always thought evergreen meant " you have 1 hours to sign up before its gone" somehting like that. I didn't know it was something that lasted a very long time. Thanks for the correction.

Evergreen has a value for some niche though. But not for all. I think when you are building the brand then the evergreen content matters. 

I remember the evergreen part when I used to write for the hubpages. I used to believe that writing evergreen would make me money lol. Still waiting for that adsense dream income of 100 dollar a day haha. Never made it. I just don't invest into speculative income based options anymore. Glad I am on hive. Atleast I can calculate what I put efforts into. 

I have started putting an effort into evergreen which is brand specific and the content that brings value.

I think evergreen content is definitely something that will attract new users. I think attracting people and that will also generate more ad revenue. So putting out a part of that for the author just sounds like a win-win.

This is what happens when you drive thousands of miles through coniferous forests 😉

How are plans for veews coming along. Is that project still moving forward?

If we can get multiple front ends bringing in revenue for content creators it could lead to a very interesting dynamic for authors.

I know evergreen rewards will definitely attract me to be more cognizant of what I do and post on chain.

I really hope Leo can find a way to do it...without wrecking the whole train.

It is a bad excuse, but sometimes I feel like the lack of evergreen rewards has somewhat held me back from putting in my best efforts on Hive.  Well maybe I should have had more faith and energy.

Time to get cracking and hope it all works out.
