I hope regulators do not reach in and put a cap on it, aiming to control the growth rate of crypto is something that will likely not be possible but then probably that's why these innovations wouldn't really happen quicker like we want it to. However progess is progress and we'd take it.

This will apply to the United States who seems to be at odds with everyone at the moment.

True they cannot stop it but they can make life very uncomfortable for U.S. citizens who are involved in cryptocurrency.  That is how they maintain control.

That aspect of control is obviously something to ponder on, I guess this is one of the disadvantages of living in the US. In some African countries it's probably not so and this is because crypto hasn't experience innovations and depth

Yeah the imperial US Government wants it hand in everything will do all it can to protect the USD.

Do not be surprised if it starts to churn out 50 or 100 year bonds.  That is one way to truly protect the USD.
