I don't know how far the Netherlands is to the US or UK, but I guess it was extremely distant, guessing this is the reason why people like theycallmedan didn't attend. Maybe the next Hivefest could be made more central. At least coulda taken a smiling selfie hahaha.

8-10h in plane easily from Spain to US approx. You need to spend 2 days on a plane to attend a 3-4 day event, which isn't worth it. UK to Netherlands is nothing, 1h or so.
