Whether we request it or not, without loyalty, business will not be born, alliances will not be made. Inasmuch as people sometimes thrive without it. When the chips are down and when it seems we're out. This is when we need it the most. Irrespective of the fact that we help without any intents. If everyone has negative values like betrayal, the human race will not grow. But at the end of the day, we learn not to need loyalty, despite the fact that at some important periods in our lives, people coming through for us was a turning point in our survival.

I love how the universe works though. It may not necessarily be the person we helped that will come to our rescue. It might be a complete stranger. 

And so businesses will always go on as long these strange characters are added in our storyline.

So all we need to do is to do good, and the universe will always find a way to return the favor.

True indeed, nevertheless, people needs motivation to do good even if the process is not cyclical. When this motivation is not there, the world becomes zombic in nature. We hope the universe doesn't test is, if not, a beast is unleashed..
