You MUST have a plan. If you have no plan, you have no goal, no target to work toward. There's not a better feeling in the world than hitting a target and if you've been working toward that target for months/years, thanks it's even sweeter.

Plan big and break it down into how you can do it in bite sizes chunks over years.
