I think crypto- the university of hard blows, hardens you so much that you stop feeling weak/bad for your losses.

I still remember that in 2017 something, I leverage longed bitcoin at 5700$ with a lot of money. Got liquidated at 3800$. And then bitcoin turned around from 3300$ to 50-60k.
That was the most brutal blow to me.

But with time, when you stick in this space, you know that what goes up, eventually goes down, and what goes down eventually goes up.
Just how much up and how much down, you can't predict, considering you can see -50% in a week, or +200% in a day in bull markets.

This time, I took some profits in the last 6 months. And now, if crypto remains in this phase for the next 6 months, or a year. I don't feel bad because I took some money out of my investments. Maybe, it's an emotional satisfaction that I am not in a total loss as I have got something out of it.
Or maybe I feel like I have seen this thing enough times and crypto will be back and up trending in a year or two.

Also, in India, Government introduced a flat tax of 30% on crypto, additional 1% TDS, and now they are working on another bill to introduce another 28%(GST) tax.

So, that's a cummulative 60% tax, or maybe more.

There is tax on profits, but you can't claim losses.

So, people who are just suffering losses are a lot better now, because they may be able to recover in a year or two.
But in India, if you recover from crypto investments, you still would have to pay 60%+ taxes.

Funny thing is, I feel calm😅😄
