Anyone that thinks of hive in this way deserves respect. I have come to learn one’s commitment to hive , their quality delivery of posts and content is summarized by that thought. 
Anyone that values it less and hopes for a get rich quick scheme, will vouch for effortless, low quality short form content like we see with web2.
 I fear it could be the death of hive.
