I wasn't aware that the players themselves were involved. It seems like a promising idea but I hope the novelty of it doesn't wear off too fast, that's my fear about NFT's.

Every time a card is resold in the marketplace the nba, players association and dapper labs gets a cut. It's a pretty brilliant way to keep collecting royalties.
