🌄 Good morning (here) @empoderat! ☕

Very nice to hear from you. 👍🙂

> *"With PWR you have a liquidity pool with a more than decent amount of Hive in it in which you can exchange your PWR for HIVE at any time ..."*

🤷‍♂️ ...

> *"Right now I feel that the project is still in an ''experimentation phase'' ..."*

Understood. So ... We'll both see together how this plays out over the next little while. For me, it is very simple.

Until I see this "buy wall" number far higher than this, I have chosen to (once again ...) invest in another "Hotel California" venture on Hive Engine ... Whether you choose to provide this with your own resources or hope that it develops "on its own merits" over time is your choice.

> *"I try to be careful about what information I make public and what I do not."*

Wise. "Under promise and over deliver" is far better for the reputation of any of us vs. the much more common opposite ... Even though ... We both understand the vital importance of attracting capital in the first place ...

Anyway ...

Thank you for investing your time in your response. A little "give and take," if conducted civilly and respectfully (as is the case here), is always welcome and much appreciated ...

And all the best to you and yours for a better tomorrow!

Good morning from my side again :)

I'm not sure, (maybe I'm mistaken), but I get the feeling you're missing an important detail. All HIVE and PWRs in pool are 'available liquidity' and you're not counting on that

In case you may not know, let me explain briefly:

![pool.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/empoderat/23t77FTmD7V1Ryj7HczVUP7VcKayDuQLurPmjgqThEze7YjjVhRXSszAMPED9k76CbWUM.png)

1) This is the total depht of the pool. In that case, there's the equivalent of 11800 HIVE (5854 HIVE + 5980 PWR).

2) In Hive Engine we have 2 prices. The price of the pool and the price of the orderbook. if there's no pool then it's irrelevant and only the orderbook price will be considered (which is the default). From the snapshot you posted above, you're only considering the orderbook price (where there's no liquidity as you pointed out, because everything is into the pool).

3) these are the 'orderbook prices' (bid and ask).
There's 'a lot' of liquidity to satisfy the need of most of delegators for a while.

Taking your particular case for example.

You're receiving 2,74 PWR daily from a 5000 HP delegation, which accounts for a 20% APR.

If you wait for a full month for the rewards to accumulate, you'll end up with ~82,2 PWR after 30 days.

if you go now to the swap option on beeswap you can trade your PWR for SWAP.HIVE (https://beeswap.dcity.io/swap?input=SWAP.HIVE&output=PWR) :

![roleerobswap.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/empoderat/23tGVGDESDVCWLpFXjT72GKTEVNrkqnQiZVXshepiuwQFk8kqAGrWPPBdTwFc1h9AvSuL.png)

As you can see (with all the numbers remaining equal), you could theoretically trade your full bag of PWR of 82 tokens for approx 79 HIVE after 30 days (with a 1,87% slippage on current prices), which would net at ~18,9% APR. How is that 'not real'?

We don't need a 'buy wall' on the regular orderbook for the peg to work as intended.

Hope you understand my point, If not, please let me know and I'll try harder :)

> Thank you for investing your time in your response. A little "give and take," if conducted civilly and respectfully (as is the case here), is always welcome and much appreciated ...

As it should be, thanks to you

🌄 Good morning (here) @empoderat! ☕

Very good. You are not mistaken. In my very limited time with Hive Engine, I have only been exposed to the orderbook:

![image.png](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/roleerob/23ywis8uvxgYJvDkvJ56K86tZ5pVxEer3pShmSvJ7P5u4gaVDvshpNYYjmf7NJ76Xo4jL.png)

There is no Swap option seen here. If I ever open TribalDex (seldom), I have always clicked on Exchange and end up where I showed you the available PWR to "Swap."

With your help, I have gone to the "Pools" page and found the Swap page to which you are referring. Thank you for showing me that! Now I understand what you are saying.

> *"Hope you understand my point, If not, please let me know and I'll try harder :)"*

Well ... Actually ... 😉 Thanks to you!

I have been consistent in how I ... "engage" ... on ~~Steem~~ Hive since August 2017 (drawing exactly ONE comment from one of the "big boys," as to the "quality" some time ago ...). It has always been remarkable (far too often, not in a good way) to me how others choose to respond, if they do at all ...

Anyway ... You have proven yourself to be a notable exception. I will not forget that.

Thank you again! I will now go add some more to the LP, which is what I do outside the Hive blockchain, as I am an investor first and foremost. That is the only reason I ever established this online presence (which I have written about many times ...).

Have a great day! 👍🙂

Exactly as I thought, you were not aware hehe, glad to have been of help then :)

Generally speaking, Tribaldex is better for 'a bit of everything' but from my side, if you want to interact with pools Beeswap (https://beeswap.dcity.io/convert) is a much better UX and feels smoother.

In case you don't know, you can also deposit/withdraw from Hive Engine from there for a 0.45% fee (Tribaldex charges 0.75%), so it's a slight discount.

You can also try HivePay which charges only 0.25% (but it's also difficult to be able to exchange big amounts). https://hivepay.io/swap/

---

Regarding comments, I have to admit that I am not overly active when it comes to leaving comments on other people's posts (although I do read a lot), but what I am conscientious about is responding to the comments that other people leave on mine.

I think this is the least anyone can do when it comes to showing a little respect for other people's work and time. Or well, that's how I see it.

I liked the appreciation you made and I must say you made my Monday morning. If you have any more questions or just want to make any more suggestions regarding PWR don't hesitate. As I said I read everything and I usually take it into account.

> Have a great day! 👍🙂

Same! :)
